Name Zone is owned by Moose River, LLC. We started Name Zone because we found that there really was no place where a small domain owner could get a secondary DNS without paying a small fortune. Most of the big providers are geared toward the shows that have thousands and thousands of domains they are hosting and with big prices to match.

We are not like that. We are just a collection of geeks that have a bunch of domains that need a secondary. We would do it for free but space and bandwidth at colos cost money. Somehow you have to pay for that. We understand that most people have a limited budget to work with. This is one of the reasons why we are big supporters of Open Source.
